Electrical and electroincs products which will be sold in Korean market and is subjected to safety regulation(3 scheme) shall ensure safety according to relevant safety requirements and procedures. Korean safety standards are harmonized with IEC standards.

Safety testing takes long times and  product modification due to  failure during the testing is frequently required . Becasue of this situation most of international applicants are submitting CB certiicates with CB test reports issued by certification bodies listed in IECEE. 

CB reports are accepted for KC safety certification but it will be important to include testing for Korean volatge rating(220V, 60Hz) and national deviations like plug type.
